This is a hand up not a hand out

Habitat for Humanity works with volunteers to build the home. The Partner Family puts in a minimum of 350 Sweat Equity hours toward the build of the home. The Partner Family assumes a low interest mortgage with Habitat. This arrangement makes homeownership possible for those who would not quality for a traditional home loan.

We have started our 11th build!!

Will you help us?

Art Speaks --Oct 7 - Oct 13

The dry wallers have hung the sheetrock so we will blow the cellulose insulation into the attic tomorrow. We will also be installing the riser boards on the stairs in preparation for carpet, along with the usual miscellaneous tasks. We will unload the insulation at 9:00 A.M. tomorrow and begin filling the attic at 1:00. We will be blowing 15” of insulation and will need both “hopper fillers” and “and attic monkeys”. You are also welcome to come and just watch! However, this is so much fun you will surely want to join in. This work may continue on Saturday. You will be notified. Window and door trim has been painted and is in the basement ready to be installed soon to be followed by the interior doors. Cabinets will be delivered this week.

Thank You -- Labor Unions, Companies, Organizations, & Others!

Thank You Representative Mary Wolfe and Senator Rita Hart for meeting with us-
